i’ve always loved fashion. in 2nd grade i was making paper purses during class. in 5th grade i was sketching swim suits and prom dresses. then, when i was 23, i started my handbag business, b.shigley designs! that’s when paper became fabric and i was thrown into the fashion world.
b.shigley designs has since evolved into Fashion Denver, a business that supports our local designers through fashion markets, fashion shows, workshops, and small business consulting in the industry.
i love being surrounded by amazing style that is right here in our own back yard! from local designers, to the cutest boutiques in denver, fashion really is at our fingertips and it’s so nice to have it so easily accessible.
The big names in fashion aren’t just in New York, Paris or Milan these days. With a wealth of talented local artists and designers in Denver, the mile high city is on the rise as a style scene all of its own.
Created as a way to unite local designers in touch with both the public and each other, Fashion Denver works to build networks, create business relationships, and allow people to share their passion for fashion.
