our show last night at Artopia was so much fun!! i realize the more shows we play, the more comfortable i am being on stage and the more i really have fun. somebody came up to me after the show and said that i was, “fearless.” i don’t know what it is about performing, but i feel alive and free when we’re performing.
one of my best friends jonny d told me, every practice is a performance. and when you look at it like that, you realize that you don’t have to be perfect and you can let the performance be what it is. this is often what makes the performance even that much better, because it’s real. i don’t have these high expectations which makes me enjoy the show.
